Fundamentals of TV Presenting
The courses concentrate on the practical features without neglecting the theoretical foundations of the TV work. It teaches you how to speak to the audience through the camera, introduces you to the positions behind the camera and it also explains the role of aiding cast, including the directors and technicians. All these factors create a state of familiarity on air while presenting news stories of headlines and bulletins.
The trainees will be in the real environment of the presenter’s work, then they will be trained to present before cameras. It also trains them how to interact with staff and to present the headlines and news in brief professionally
The course targets those who want to work in TV presenting and who want to develop their elocution and sound techniques. It also targets those who work in journalism, public relations in addition to graduates of media colleges and institutes who want to be qualified for the TV market.
The course teaches managing voice performance, the method of reading headlines, news stories, bulletins and other programes. It also covers body language, visual communication, news types, production terms and technical issues facing the presenter on air. It explains the presenter’s moral and professional responsibility. The course gives floor to extensive rehearsals. The trainee will eventually get a recorded video for their exercises of presenting headlines or bulletins in the studio.
